GREENE COUNTY GRANITE

Greene County Granite is also known as Oconee Granite or Arizona White Granite. Medium to large grain, and warmth of color make this medium gray granite a unique choice for both architectural and landscape applications. Oconee is a versatile stone, hence contributing a special touch to any design and building project. It has a grey background with a slight hint of warm taupe. The visual interest, physical properties, and consistency of this stone make it suitable for large projects. This Oconee granite is excellent for use for as building cladding and facade detailing, benches, seatwalls, coping, caps, curb and paving. Quarried and fabricated in the U.S., so it is a natural choice for small and large projects alike as well as projects requiring LEED.

This granite has been used in important and large-scale projects, creating a durable legacy. Some of the notable legacy projects include the World War II Memorial and the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C, Raleigh Convention Center, NC State Museum of Natural Science in Raleigh, NC, Mecklenburg County Courthouse, and the Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, GA.
